7. Prayer that's snow joke
A prayer is by Francis of Assisi (first live nativity) goes as follows.
AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) often uses this prayer.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Here is a version for church services in the winter in Pennsylvania.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept another snow storm;
courage to drive in the snow;
and wisdom to know when to stay home.

9. Project planning
There are crucial elements to systems that cannot be known in advance. Project planning requires an iterative process. You can't do it once and be done with it (e.g., the Waterfall method).
